Description
The Kings Cross Village Centre occupies a large site of approximately 1500 metres.
Historically the Kings Cross Village Centre in Potts Point has been the retail and commercial hub of Kings Cross and Potts Point. In its heyday it was the meeting place for the people of Kings Cross, Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay and Darlinghurst.
Our vision is to replace the existing run down building with a new Village Centre consisting of retail shops and supermarket and 45 luxury lifestyle boutique strata offices each with their own shower, balcony and a car space.
The new building has been designed by Stanisic Associates Architects to high environmental standard, with a 4 1/2 star Australian Building Greenhouse Rating.
The people from the Macleay Street precinct will once again be able to take the short cut ‘ants track’ through the Village Centre to the Kings Cross railway station and vice versa for the people from the Kings Cross station/Darlinghurst area.
The rebuilding of the Kings Cross Village Centre in itself will inject new life into its immediate area and will go a long way towards assisting the City Council's plans for the 'Village' feel they are spending a lot of money to achieve.
It is anticipated that marketing for sales and leasing will commence in October 2008
